Engineering Intern – DRiV / Tenneco, Winchester, VA

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Engineering Intern will work under the guidance of the Engineering staff and will be provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

 

Duties may include:

- Preparation and modification of engineering drawings using AutoCad or BricsCAD.

- Prepare overlays of components for resourcing reviews.

- Receiving shipments of disc pad components for review.  Components will include, back plates, shims, disc pad hardware.

- Test fitting disc pad components and hardware kits in calipers.

- Interface with other internal organizations such as manufacturing, marketing, and purchasing.

 

Educational Requirements/Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled student majoring in Engineering, or Computer Engineering and must have completed the freshman year.

 

Abilities/Skills:

Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills required.  

The Candidate must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.

Strong computer skills desired with Excel experience required.  Power Point, and AutoCad or BricsCAD experience will also be preferred.
