We are looking for an Accountant for our Waupun WI Plant for.  The accountant will work closely with our accounting team to obtain, prepare and record data in the financial area. Coordinates and carries out the cost accounting function of the company with specific responsibilities in system compliance, cost analysis and accuracy of data.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, two years of experience preferred with emphasis in cost accounting or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to read and write English.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Must be able to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial report as well as compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, SAP, 10Stream, and Business Systems.  Ability to adapt to new software and upgrades.
  • Must be detail and quality oriented. 
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to maintain all information in a professional and on a confidential basis.
