Öhlins Racing AB is looking for a Project Manager.

 

Do you want to be part of the development of the suspension system of the future and help our customers go faster, safer and more comfortable?

We are now looking for a Project Manager who can strengthen our team within the project office at Öhlins’ head office in Upplands Väsby.

 

Main tasks

The project office is primarily responsible for managing product development and customer application projects and for further developing our processes and our project methodology. Some business development projects are also led by the project office.

As a project manager, your tasks will consist of:

 

  • leading different types of projects, mainly product development projects and customer application projects.
  • being responsible for developing, verifying and production launch of new products in accordance with set requirements.
  • planning and following-up of requirements, design, product verification, component procurement, documentation as well as resources and budget.
  • report on the project's progress to the steering group, customer and other stakeholders.

 

Your project team will consist of people with expertise in mechanical and hydraulic design, mechatronics, purchasing, testing, production technology, etc.

Part of the position as project manager involves actively participating in the project office's joint responsibility to develop our tools and models for project management.

 

Qualifications

Our customers put high demands on our ability to communicate, efficiently manage projects and deliver the desired result within time and budget. This means that you must have an operational project management competence at the same time as you have a strategic view of the project management work.

 

  • Master of Science in Engineering, preferably with a mechatronic background or equivalent. A great interest in technology and a good understanding of technical contexts is required.
  • A few years’ experience of working as a project manager for product development projects in the manufacturing industry.
  • We operate in an international environment, which means that in addition to being able to express oneself well in Swedish in both oral and writing, good knowledge of English is also a requirement.
  • Experience from the automotive industry standards IATF-16949, ISO-9001: 2015, ISO-26262 and the project model APQP is a highly advantageous merit but not a requirement.
