Job Description

Assist the Tool Engineering team with a variety of projects to include but not limited to:

  • Data mining sharpening work orders based on tool types/ material blanked- Similar project that was done in 2019 to set the progressive puck PM's.
  • Assisting with Process mapping and validation- Sharpening's, changeovers, tool deliveries.
  • Help create an on-line database for best practices for trouble shooting Press calls which die maker can access from our Tool Room Tablets.
  • Assist with Rule die design.
  • Design fixtures/ gauges as needed.
  • Help reduce the Preco / RD past due by 60%.

Required Skills

  • Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to use Excel to run reports and create charts.
  • Adobe Pro.
  • Microsoft Viso -to be used for creating process mapping.
  • CAD software - NX or AutoCAD.

Required Experience

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • CAD experience a must.
