This role is an excellent opportunity to join us as a Sales Coordinator in our Tenneco Valves Business Unit within our Powertrain Business Group.
As a part of the European Sales Team, the Sales Coordinator actively supports the Account Manager. This is an entry-level position with several possibilities to grow. You’ll be working in an exciting international environment, and the customers served are reputable Commercial Truck, Off-Highway & Motorbike manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities


  • Quote & negotiate prices & contracts for new projects or engineering changes, prototypes, development, service parts
  • Collect costs and create business cases for requests for quotations or other changes
  • Answer customer warranty/quality/timing-related questions
  • Maximize internal support for our customers
  • Maintain price file & support in solving overdue
  • Create & control business plan
  • Manage customer-specific requirements collection and internal distribution
  • Review costs & develop margin improvement ideas

What will make you successful (requirements)


  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics
  • Passion for Commercial Truck, Off-Highway, and/or Motorbike applications & business in general
  • Good ability to work with MS Excel
  • Good knowledge of English. German would be a plus
  • Analytical skills
  • Positive attitude & ownership mentality
  • Willing to travel
