This position will be part of the EMEA’s Off-Highways/Heavy Duty team. In this role you will primarily support the regional sales managers (primarly: quote, process, identify parts, after-sale services & tool usage, replenishment order processing, secondarily: replenishment order support and/or operative product support,) with direct customer & prospects. The operative product support will also be from technical nature, specifically to Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) focus. This role will report to the Customer Care Manager Off-Highway EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as part of the Off-Highways/HD EMEA organization - Voice from & voice to the customers (actively)
- Direct and/or indirect coordination of daily operations with inside & outside departments, customers, internal suppliers as and when required
- Administration of the order entry process
- Administration of the direct shipments; coordinate & follow-up with supplier, goods receipt & supplier invoice validation
- Arrange outbound shipments; scheduling of transport depending on customer agreements/selected forwarder.
- Contact with warehouse/transporters to have shipments ready and pick up in due time.
- Administrative follow-up of shipments from A to Z
- Maintenance of Customer Care peer-2-peer relations (pointing, review, setup, tracking)
- Deliver a high standard Inside sales calls including customer service
- Proactive & reactive communication with customers & prospects (verbal, non-verbal, electronic)
- Technical-Commercial sales support and/or part identification by usage of technical databases
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels (internal and external), for receipt and transmittal of information, requirements and priorities
- Review sales performance versus plan and report progress to Inside Sales Manager. Ensure periodic report is provided accordingly
- Actively involved with sales promotions and customer focused activities
- Attend carrier meetings and be involved in the tendering process ensuring that contractual service levels are met
- Monitor BW reports to assess month on month growth
- Usage of TecCom, where needed
- Attendance at management meetings when required, to update and provide input relevant to Inside Sales (incl. Customer service) activities
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly to minimize any risk of potential claims of unfair treatment
- Maintain records and any necessary/required documentation in relation to the “Inside Sales” operation, ensuring Data Protection Legislation is adhered to at all times
- Communicate to internal/external customers/suppliers to ensure that each other’s needs are recognized
- Adherence to all applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
- Adherence to company policies, procedures and cores values
- Ensure production of timely and accurate records
- Actively seek to keep informed of any changes and will proactively share information and ideas with colleagues where appropriate
- Processing, monitoring and checking invoices (i.e. 3rd party internal supplies) in frame of “Regional Sales manager” guidance
- Deal with carriers (for ex EMEA DC & 3rd party direct shipment)
- Deal with auditors and inspections as applicable to define export markets
- Operatively load and implement New products numbers (NNA) in conjunction with Product Managers
- Follow changes to policy given by " Customer Care Managers"
- Communicate customer or business issues to " Customer Care Manager" to determine needs of submitting ISWR
- Customer Survey
- Actively process replenishment order (work with EMEA SC and US Product Planners)
What will make you successful:
- Technical and/or Commercial degree or equal through experience ( preferably in Technical Sales or Product Management or equivalent)
- 5+ years business experience in a sales, sales support or customer service function (preferebale with a technical interface in automotive or construction – minning environment)
- Fluent in English or any other language is an added value
- Knowledge of procedures and logistics processes
- Overall knowledge of transport and forwarding bookings
- Knowledge of SAP, MS office – knowledge of NABS/BPCS is an asset

- Multiple operation systems usage capability to supply best input possible
