Job Description - 

 

To lead the sales & marketing activities, develop new customers, and new market for continuous business growth for North India in Tenneco's “Systems Protection” business unit.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for the development of sales in North region of India
  • Work upstream with the allocated manufacturer(s) to specify FMSP products.
  • Negotiates the commercial conditions of the contracts within the framework of pre-established limits (price, discount, payment condition) after validation with the Sales Manager
  • Create and maintain commercial contacts with customers and prospects.
  • Manages the distribution network in his area.
  • Works in collaboration with Product Management and R&D on the development of new products and/or product modifications in order to meet customer expectations and needs. Write technical reports for customer follow-up.
  • Responsible for the monthly activity report (visit reports, monitoring of key objectives, new markets, development of new products, etc.) and the implementation and monitoring of related action plans
  • Identify business opportunities and target markets.  
  • Arrange meetings with potential clients.
  • Challenge perceptions in order to get the customer to buy a product.
  • Record sales information and maintain customers’ records.

  • Advanced degree in a technical discipline is required, Engineer preferred.
  • Fluency in English language required.
  • Rigorous, methodical and a good communicator. You also can adapt quickly and work independently.
  • Curious, force of proposal, listening to customers to define THE solution, "agile" (adapts to hazards, needs, priorities, emergencies.)
  • Reactivity, the ability to manage several subjects and bring them to a conclusion.
