Assistant Manager - Supply Chain

Job Description


  • Oversee Production Planning & Control management activities within the organization, Capacity and Demand Variation Analysis, Responsible for monitoring OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery performance matrix, Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery, Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications, Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities, Notify customer service on any delays and outages.
  • SOX/Internal Control, IATF, Customer Audit in SCM with Zero Non conformity, Logistics, Customs & warehouse Audit Compliance.
  • Managing  Days Inventory Outstanding for Raw Materials and Finished Articles on monthly/AOP basis.
  • Sales and Supply forecasting for Monthly (M), N+3 and Seasonal Demands analyzing previous trend as well as industry trend.
  • Controlling  the logistics/Packaging cost with controlled and leveled production and also Calculating and planning for logistics/packaging cost monthly and year during AOP planning.
  • Handling All SCM related Issue i.e. Indirect Store, FG Store, Packaging etc.
  • Monthly MRM/Operation Review Presentations, C form outstanding review.
  • Inventory optimization ,E&O Quarterly Review, Depletion Plan.
  • Material Master Creation, Change Log, BOM/Routing/PV Creation, Handling SAP Related Issue & SAP New Report/Process Development.
  • Freight Forwarders and CHA review, dispute handling.
  • Insurance Claims & Liaison with Surveyors + Insurance Company.
  • Monthly Flash (Sales/Production/Inv/Freight )Reports
    Month end Reporting’s (Sales/S.I.T,  Freight Spend/Premium Spend).


  1. Excellent knowledge on Import - Export
  2. Working experience in SAP - MM / SD / PP module
  3. PPC  Knowledge / Advance M.S. Excel
  4. Excellent Inter Personal and Communication Skills
  5. Good analytical skills
