Shipping & Customs Specialist with German

We are looking for a dedicated Shipping & Customs Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring seamless customer logistics operations. 

Responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, preparing customs documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing transportation activities through SAP and external logistics portals.

This role requires availability to work in shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents for domestic and international customer deliveries.
• Process shipments and execute shipping transactions in SAP.
• Prepare customs and foreign trade documents, including certificates of origin and export documentation.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor shipments and resolve transportation or customs-related issues.
• Manage customer logistics portals and shipment tracking activities.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and support audit requirements.
• Use Customs and parcel service platforms. 

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, logistics, customs, or foreign trade operations.
• Hands-on SAP experience for shipping and logistics transactions.
• Advanced English and German skills
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience working with freight forwarders and customer portals.
• Proficiency with Customs portals and parcel carrier portals (DHL, UPS, FedEx).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.
