Location: Bucharest, RO

Company: Tenneco

Our new colleague may be based in Bucharest, Romania, or Rybnik, Poland.

The Group Treasury function at Tenneco is undergoing a significant operating model transformation following a major organisational redesign, that resulted in the establishment of a new EMEA regional treasury department. As part of this reshaping of the function, we are building a best‑in‑class treasury capability from the ground up—one that brings structure, insight, and strategic value to a truly global and highly dynamic business.

EMEA Treasury plays a central role in supporting Group Treasury through the delivery of robust liquidity forecasting, strong governance, and effective cash management across the region. The team partners extensively with commercial, finance, and operational stakeholders to improve cash visibility, strengthen financial controls, and enhance business decision‑making. In addition, EMEA Treasury contributes to the Group’s FX risk management framework, oversees key banking relationships, and supports structured finance initiatives such as working capital programs.

This is a unique opportunity to join a newly established team and help shape the foundations of a modern treasury function. The role will contribute directly to the development of new forecasting models, processes, controls, and reporting capabilities, while also supporting broader transformation efforts across systems, data, and operating processes. The successful candidate will thrive in a build‑from‑scratch environment and will play a pivotal role in driving process excellence, embedding strong controls, and enhancing business partnering across the region.
