About the position
In your role as Process Engineer / Konstrukteur (m/f/d) - Equipment Design & Industrialization, you will develop technical solutions in small teams. You will ensure that projects are industrialized on time and within budget, and that the necessary fixtures, tools, and gauges are designed, properly documented, and implemented. You will work closely with various teams and be responsible for the optimal design, coordination, and functionality of the required equipment.
Hybrid setup: 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home
Languages: fluent German & English
Responsibilities
Technical coordination for the procurement of equipment (fixtures/tools/gauges/etc.)
- Development of fixture concepts as a basis for external requests (specifications)
- Maintaining and further developing internal fixture standards
- Coordination and review of externally developed designs for fixtures, tools, and gauges
- Placing orders and tracking them (budget, deadlines)
- Point of contact for all fixtures, tools, and gauges in series production regarding modifications and maintenance - collaboration with maintenance
- Feasibility studies and cost estimates in early project phases
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical college/vocational school training in mechanical engineering or similar, or extensive experience in fixture/toolmaking or equivalent or several years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering/industrialization or equivalent
- Experience with CAD, technical drawings, and tolerance systems (ideally CATIA V5)
- Knowledge of project management, Lean, problem-solving techniques, EHS, ergonomics, PFMEA, manufacturability analyses, quality & production
- Very good proficiency with PC/laptop, MS Office, SAP
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
- Ability to communicate across multiple levels and organizational boundaries
