What you will do:

You prepare balance sheets for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and US-GAAP, as well as for reporting, forecasts, budget planning, evaluations, and ad-hoc inquiries.

You are responsible for the proper recording of all business transactions in asset accounting, actively participate in investment projects, and advise departments on accounting issues.

You are the main contact for the tax accounting of all types of business transactions and for tax-related issues of the corporate tax department, as well as for auditors and tax advisors.

You approve purchase requisitions in compliance with commercial law requirements and internal corporate guidelines.

You work on process improvements and projects within financial accounting.

You are the main contact for the corporate Shared Service Center for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

You are co-responsible for the SOX audit and ensure compliance with SOX requirements, including the further development of process descriptions.

You handle accounting issues and special topics according to HGB and US-GAAP.

What will make you successful:

  • You have completed commercial training and further training as a certified accountant or have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in economics.

  • You have several years of professional experience in accounting, particularly in general ledger and asset accounting, ideally in a corporate environment.

  • You have excellent accounting knowledge according to HGB and US-GAAP, as well as very good knowledge of German tax law, particularly income tax and VAT.

  • You have excellent Excel and SAP user skills in the FI, AA, and CO modules; other modules are an advantage.

  • You have experience in managing auditors and other audits; SOX experience is desirable.

  • You are characterized by quick comprehension and an independent, analytical working style, have a high degree of personal responsibility, and enjoy working in a team.

  • Good English skills in spoken and written (B2 level) complete your profile.
