About Us:

At Tenneco, we’re on a mission. Guided by our Core Values and a winning mindset, we are committed to becoming the most trusted partner, manufacturer, and distributor in the transportation industry. What drives us? Our people are passionate changemakers who bring energy, dedication, and innovation to everything they do.

In this role, you will lead the plant P3 Integrated Supply Chain operating system across Supply Planning, Material Handling, ERP and Inventory Integrity, Demand Planning, Transportation, Lean, and Customs. You will synchronize customer demand, production, suppliers, inventory, systems, material flow, and logistics through one set of standards, one governance rhythm, and clear functional accountability. You will protect customer delivery while improving inventory, cost, cash, capability, and certification maturity.

Who are you?

  • End-to-End Supply Chain Leader: You connect demand, supply, production, material flow, inventory, transportation, trade compliance, systems, and customer delivery into one coherent operating model.
  • Execution-Oriented Operator: You run daily and weekly governance with clear facts, decisions, owners, due dates, and escalation. You balance urgent recovery with permanent corrective action.
  • P3 Operating-System Owner: You maintain the plant organization, RASCI, standard work, skills matrix, KPI definitions, maturity roadmap, evidence ownership, and certification sustainment.
  • Customer and Business Partner: You protect commitments while balancing capacity, inventory, cost, working capital, operational risk, and long-term business requirements.
  • Developer of People and Leaders: You build a capable team, define expectations, coach performance, create trained backups, strengthen succession, and hold the organization accountable for outcomes.
  • Lean and Data-Driven Decision Maker: You use facts, ERP discipline, visual management, pull, flow, root cause, and continuous improvement to simplify operations and remove recurring instability.

Who will you set to win, and how will you do that?

  • Plant Manager and Leadership Team: Bring an end-to-end supply-chain view to site strategy, SQDIC performance, risk, investment, and customer decisions.
  • Production and Engineering: Synchronize materials, schedule, capacity, master data, change management, and recovery to enable stable execution.
  • Commercial and Customers: Translate requirements into executable plans, credible commitments, early escalation, and disciplined recovery.
  • Procurement and Suppliers: Establish material, capacity, performance, and risk routines that protect the plant and improve supplier execution.
  • Finance, HR, IT, and Compliance: Align financial controls, organization capability, systems enablement, governance, and audit readiness.
  • Regional and Global Supply Chain: Deploy standards, calibrate maturity, remove structural barriers, and scale strong practices across the network.

What’s going to be your legacy?

  • One Integrated Plant Supply Chain: Functions operating through shared standards and clear ownership rather than silos and shadow processes.
  • Reliable Customer and Plant Execution: Improved OTD/OTIF, material availability, schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, and recovery discipline.
  • Working Capital and Cost Performance: Healthy raw, WIP, and finished-goods inventory; controlled freight, premium freight, and logistics cost.
  • A Stronger Organization: Clear roles, capable leaders, qualified backups, standard work, and a visible performance culture.
  • Sustained P3 Certification: A plant that progresses through maturity levels and sustains the routines, evidence, and behaviors behind certification.
  • Resilience and Continuous Improvement: Risks identified early, continuity plans tested, actions closed, and systemic waste removed from the value stream.

Experience:

  • End-to-End Plant Supply Chain Leadership: Proven leadership across planning, scheduling, suppliers, inventory, material handling, logistics, trade compliance, systems, and customer delivery.
  • Manufacturing Execution: Strong experience connecting plant supply chain with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, HR, and IT.
  • P3, Lean, and Transformation: Experience deploying an operating system, leading maturity improvement, coaching teams, and delivering sustained SQDIC results.
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Understanding of working capital, freight, premium freight, inventory, cost-to-serve, productivity, and P&L impact.
  • People Leadership: Demonstrated success building organizations, developing talent, managing performance, and creating accountability.
  • Risk and Program Management: Experience supporting product launches, phase-outs, capacity changes, recovery, continuity, and customer escalation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineer, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Strong ERP, Excel, BI, planning, and supply-chain analytics capability.
  • APICS, Lean/Six Sigma, or comparable professional certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication, decision quality, financial acumen, and cross-functional influence.
  • Fluent in English and the local plant language, as required.

What we Offer:

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
  • Work and learn in a fast-paced environment while shaping the P3 Integrated Supply Chain operating system.
  • Hands-on exposure to Lean, ERP, Analytics, cross-functional problem solving, and plant transformation.
