For our location in Morroco - Tangier, we are looking for a new Cost Controller. 

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

This person will be responsible for assisting the Plant controller regarding costing, reporting, operational analysis and special projects.  The role will include handling corporate requests for information for the business unit, and interfacing with other departments to provide additional support where required. As well as:

 

  • Compliance with internal financial procedures. (Accounting Policies Manual).
  • Respect of Moroccan legislation in tax and social matters.
  • To adhere and be compliant to the policies and procedures in regards to quality standards and strive to continuously improve processes.
  • To ensure compliance with Federal-Mogul Quality and EHS policies, procedures and practices.
  • To respect the environment and act consciously of environmental responsibilities.

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Cost control, Finance or Accounting.

Certification in IFRS or USGAP is a optional.

 

EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience (including trainings) as Accountant or Cost controller in an industrial plant.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

 

  1. Understanding of fundamental accounting principals.
  2. Duties and responsibilities include involvement in the following activities:
  3. Five-Year Strategic Plan.
  4. Annual Business Plan.
  5. Quarterly Operational Reviews.
  6. Month End Analysis by facility.
  7. Quarterly Forecast analysis and consolidation.
  8. Corporate Requests for analysis.
  9. Strong analytical and communicaitons skills required.
  10. Strong presentation skills and poise to successfully discuss financial analysis results and conclusions with all levels of plant and corporate management.
  11. High level of computer skills required, including knowledge and experience with the following programs: Excel, PowerPoint & SAP.
