Payroll Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain HR systems, including but not limited to SAP, Success Factors, and Workforce
  • Prepare and enter all payroll related changes into SAP, Kronos, and Workforce
  • Submit process forms to Payroll department.
  • Weekly payroll verification for hourly pay group.
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll information as required by law and Company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports.
  • Create, review and administer various HR/payroll reports such as, compliance training reports, headcount reports, payroll reports, payroll audits, benefits reports, etc.   
  • Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation for employees.
  • Assist with the monthly and quarterly compliance reports, develop and implement solutions.
  • First point of contact for employees for time and attendance and payroll questions or concerns.
  • Provide accounting support to Finance/Accounting department as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Education:  Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, related field or equivalent work experience

 Skills & Experience:

  •  Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in Human Resources; Payroll; Administrative field.
  •  Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interact with a wide variety or people.
  •  Attention to detail and results oriented.
  •  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high quality of work.
  •  Proficient in computer applications including but not limited to: System Applications Products (SAP). SuccessFactors, WorkForce Timekeeping, and Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills preferred.
