1    PURPOSE
•    Responsible for the general maintenance, repair and upkeep of the building, material handling equipment, and all other machines used throughout the operation. 
2    SCOPE
•    Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, construction, modifications, and repair activities. 
3    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•    Must comply with all EH&S regulations for the protection of the environment and maintain safe working conditions.   
•    Policies, procedures, and work instructions must be adhered to for quality assurance and internal / external customer satisfaction.
•    Work with all levels of the organization to prevent equipment failure and correct any problems that exist.
•    Efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and repair all issues involving the facility and/or its equipment. 
•    Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
•    Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
4    DUTIES
•    Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests. 
•    Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program on all equipment. 
•    Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
•    Assist with changing the batteries on all material handling equipment as needed. 
•    Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
•    Ensure all equipment is in proper working order and all safety guidelines are adhered to.   
•    Perform all other duties as assigned. 

5    REQUIREMENTS
•    Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
•    Ability and willingness to work alternative shifts as required.
•    Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
•    Ability to handle the pressure of deadlines, coupled with frequent interruptions.
•    Ability to understand all drawings, diagrams and instructions for equipment / machinery.

6    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.  The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee may be exposed to heights up to 30 feet.  The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions. 
7    TRAINING
•    High school diploma or GED 
•    Technical or Trade School Certification 
•    Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
•    Prior equipment and facility maintenance experience preferred
