Purpose / Summary
Accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control and insure delivery of materials/product to proper location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Unload trucks and verify accuracy using packing slip
Receive all income material/product using SAP/Scanner
Once all material/product has been received, label properly and put away in correct locations. Bin to bin all material/product to location
Communicate Discrepancies by using the receiving discrepancy tool that is in SharePoint.
Process Paperwork – YM36
Reportability
This position reports to Receiving Supervisor
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma / GED or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILL/CHARACTERISTICS
Proficient in Excel. Ability to navigate internet to access Customer Portals. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in basic mathematical functions, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
