DRiV is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst with strong analytical and accounting skills to support DriV strategic initiatives and make vs buy activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced, and collaborative environment where no two days are the same. This position requires a hands-on individual that can work independently to drive tasks to completion and be able to pivot as needed based on priorities. This role will work with executives and staff across all functions as well as external stakeholders to execute the transaction goals. The team is ready to act immediately on candidates who the best fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for tracking global costs related to strategic initiatives across all workstreams. This individual will own the file and expectation will be that the file is accurate and complete.
- Attend various global workshop meetings to document key takeaways for Finance Director
- Collaborate with the strategic initiatives program director to calculate monthly accrual based on completed work.
- Optimize current Excel files and financial models to support business needs.
- Prepare, monitor, and report on budgets and forecasts, incorporating insights from all workstream stakeholders.
- Synthesize complex financial data into manageable and meaningful key points for executive PowerPoint presentations.
- Develop analysis based on team input for Make vs Buy projects and support the Make vs Buy enabler process, including pipeline ideation and savings tracking.
- Facilitate discussions during Make vs Buy meetings with cross-functional teams and execute changes in the Make vs Buy financial model.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
- Minimum of 3+ years in accounting and finance roles, preferably in manufacturing environments
- Proven experience in accrual accounting, financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, especially in relation to Make vs Buy initiatives.
- Experience with reporting & analyzing data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
- Experience with large scale ERP systems such as SAP and familiarity with consolidation tools such as HFM and OneStream.
- Advanced skill in Excel with the ability to utilize complex functions like INDEX-MATCH, create and manipulate PivotTables, implement conditional formatting with multiple criteria is required.
- Team player with cross-functional skills and ability to influence without authority.
