$20 - $24 + shift differential

General Summary
Knowledge and skills beyond that of an Operator through work on manufacturing equipment, machinery or information systems. Responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Complete work that meets production and quality standards. Notify the Operations Supervisor of any occurrences that negatively impact production. This Team Member typically has acquired the general knowledge and skills of the Operator. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Addendum: Specifics for Area Worked
Position Summary:
Operate out of the scrap dock (dock 3) to ensure all incoming waste, refuse and recyclables are handled safely, that regulations are followed, and cross contamination is prevented. Load and unload trailers with materials. Retrieve and sort materials from plant operations. Order and receive janitorial supplies, salt, and calcium chloride. Sort recyclable materials such as copper; brass, aluminum, steel, both clean and dirty wooden skids, and paper products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Retrieve, sort, store, ship, or dispose of various materials from plant production to include:
- Chemical waste including hazardous chemicals.
- Universal waste, (bulbs, mercury switches, non-PCB ballasts and misc. electronics).
- Wooden skids.
- Recyclable materials.
- General refuse.
- Order and receive janitorial supplies, salt, and calcium chloride as needed.
- Unloads and delivers incoming materials to various parts of the facility using powered industrial trucks.
- Completes daily record keeping.
Qualifications - Required Skills:
- Safety first mindset.
- Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Physical requirements to include but not limited to:
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs frequently.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Manual dexterity.
- Stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and crouch or crawl.
