Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations. This pivotal role involves orchestrating procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning to ensure seamless product flow and operational excellence. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will leverage advanced analytics and process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on process improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management using SAP.
  • Manage inventory control processes through demand planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and inventory management tools.
  • Lead logistics operations to ensure timely delivery, transportation efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize supply chain analytics platforms to monitor KPIs, identify root causes of issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen and Six Sigma projects.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production planning, reduce waste, and implement lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S and value stream mapping.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for supply disruptions or inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through process optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proven experience in supply chain management within manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP including modules related to procurement, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Expertise in supply chain analytics tools and demand forecasting software.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems, demand planning techniques, inventory control strategies, and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies like Kaizen and Six Sigma for process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets for root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments effectively.
  • Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing are preferred.
