Your Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of Tenneco's internal customer strategy.
  • Assist the Sales Manager in analyzing market trends and competitor activities. 
  • Contribute to the development of short, medium, and long-term customer strategies.
  • Monitor sales and product profitability; initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Participate in project work and support the acquisition of new business to achieve sales targets.
  • Assist with quote preparation and pricing activities, including for technical changes.
  • Maintain pricing documentation and support price negotiations.
  • Support customer relationship management across all relevant areas.
  • Manage order backlogs, perform price checks, maintain customer databases and ensure data accuracy in SAP.

 

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in business or engineering; a technical background is advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in sales, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Confident and communicative personality with customer-facing experience.
  • Flexibility, and resilience under pressure.
  • High level of autonomy, initiative in solving issues, and asking around and personal responsibility.
  • Preferably previous experience in SAP and very good Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
