We are looking for two experienced Project Managers to join our team in Rybnik.

 

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Background in project management or sales
  • A structured approach to work
  • Powertrain expertise with exposure to engines and related components.
  • Fluency in English and Polish (mandatory)

 

Work model: Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)

Role Objective

  • Support the initiation of new projects with platform leaders, from idea to assessment (in collaboration with Chief Engineer / Regional Engineering Director).
  • Own and prepare the Project Approval Form including the Business Case Description.
  • Manage approved projects from planning through execution, reporting, and presentation.
  • Ensure project prioritization to achieve defined targets.

 

Key Interfaces

  • Product Development Director: Direct reporting line
  • Engineering Director (Region): Aligns on development needs and resource forecasts
  • Sales Director (Region): Provides commercial input and helps build business cases
  • Manufacturing & Components (M&C) Director: Coordinates project execution and resource assignment

Customer Manager: Engaged as needed by the Engineering Director.

 

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams from Engineering and M&C (optionally Sales) based on project scope and RASIC.
  • Functionally lead technical project leaders.

 

Product & Engineering Expertise

  • Strong project management capabilities for portfolios and individual initiatives.
  • Broad understanding of global powertrain trends, regulations, and market potential.
  • Sound product knowledge to drive project efficiency.
  • Competency in business case evaluation methodology and application.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years reporting to a Director or Senior Manager
  • Experience in Product Lines (with strong focus on Product & Engineering, ideally also Sales)
  • Background in Customer–Engineering collaboration (Technology or AE)
  • A confident professional with a high level of responsibility and influence
