Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Purchasing Coordinator to lead a team of 3 specialists in a dynamic, high-volume purchasing environment (~300 orders/week).

This role combines hands-on procurement responsibilities with team leadership, acting as a key interface between local operations and global purchasing teams.

Fluency is both Polish and English is mandatory.

 

Work model : Hybrid ( 4 days onsite,1 day remote)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the daily work of a team of 3 purchasing professionals
  • Manage end-to-end indirect procurement processes, including:
    • Supplier sourcing and bidding (RFQs/RFPs)
    • Commercial evaluation of offers
    • Contract negotiations and supplier selection
    • Contract drafting and order placement
  • Ensure smooth coordination across departments (e.g., Production, HR, Technical)
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives (e.g., reducing tooling or operational costs)
  • Collaborate closely with global purchasing teams
  • Oversee purchasing activities to ensure efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness

 

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in indirect procurement
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience (team lead / coordinator level)
  • Strong hands-on procurement expertise (operational + strategic exposure)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Fluency in Polish (native) and English (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
