Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Indirect Purchasing Coordinator to lead a team of 3 specialists in a dynamic, high-volume purchasing environment (~300 orders/week).
This role combines hands-on procurement responsibilities with team leadership, acting as a key interface between local operations and global purchasing teams.
Fluency is both Polish and English is mandatory.
Work model : Hybrid ( 4 days onsite,1 day remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the daily work of a team of 3 purchasing professionals
- Manage end-to-end indirect procurement processes, including:
- Supplier sourcing and bidding (RFQs/RFPs)
- Commercial evaluation of offers
- Contract negotiations and supplier selection
- Contract drafting and order placement
- Ensure smooth coordination across departments (e.g., Production, HR, Technical)
- Drive cost optimization initiatives (e.g., reducing tooling or operational costs)
- Collaborate closely with global purchasing teams
- Oversee purchasing activities to ensure efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in indirect procurement
- At least 2 years of leadership experience (team lead / coordinator level)
- Strong hands-on procurement expertise (operational + strategic exposure)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Fluency in Polish (native) and English (mandatory)
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
