AR Accountant

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage accounting processes for our plant located in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper accounting process execution, timely and accurate collection of overdue payments, and maintaining positive relationships with both external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and posting bank statements, allocating payments, and reconciling differences in accordance with applicable regulations
• Contacting customers, resolving discrepancies, and monitoring overdue receivables
• Ensuring accuracy of data in the accounting system
• Preparing financial data for auditors (including internal audits and preparation of the company’s annual financial statements)
• Close cooperation with the local finance department and other departments within the company
• Active participation in period-end closings (account reconciliation, intercompany settlements, etc.)
• Handling factoring processes
• Collaborating and maintaining good relationships with the team and other departments in an international environment

Requirements:

• University degree (preferably in Finance and Accounting, Economics, or related fields)
• At least 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable and familiarity with the Accounting Act regulations
• Proficient English skills
• Previous experience with SAP  
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, independence, and ability to work in a team
