Material Planner

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Material planner is the person who coordinate material purchasing plan to meet production and customer demand. The business situation and individual skills may dictate the method of meeting these responsibilities, but the end result will always be superior customer service and the advancement of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for coordinating the Material purchasing plan which is based on the production plan and inventory status of the plant
• Management of supplier deliveries, monitor supplier delivery performance, including the On-time delivery, Premium freight instances and Customer Disruption Instances of all suppliers.
• Constantly supervise of supply situation, make sure no material shortage for daily production.
• In Close collaboration with production planner and customer service to Optimize production process to make on-time delivery to customer.
• Control of inventory situation as target.
• Coordinate with cross functions to make preventive actions to assure future material and new material supply.
• In close coordinate with Quality and Warehouse team to deal with daily work.
• Be responsible for the arrangement of SEA/AIR shipment from overseas supplier.
• Reconcile accounts with suppliers, handle invoice anomalies, and match the documents    
• Other work assigned by Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Eeducation:Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Purchasing or Planning, International trade and Logistics.
• Experience：At lease 3 years related working experience in Purchasing, Planning in Auto Industry.
• Knowledge & Skill: SAP system or ERP knowledge is an advantage.
• Language:Good English communication skill both in writing and oral. 
• Others:Strong communication and integrated thinking skills. Be able to work under pressure.Good teamwork spirit.
