Job title:  Senior Engineer  

 

Job function and sub function: Quality Assurance –NPD & Customer complaint.

 

Reports to (role):Quality Manager

  1. Involve in new product launch with CFT
  2. Preparation of PPAP documents
  3. Handling pre launch stage customer
  4. Handling customer complaint by 8D methodology

 

 

Team size (Direct and total): 2 Nos

 

Works closely with: CFT team -MET ,Launch ,Program ,Rngg

Location: Chakan

Key responsibilities:

Experience: Diploma/ B.E. with 7-10 years from experience in sheet metal & welding

  1. Participate in the program meetings
  1. Follow APQP time line
  1. Do feasibility study of drawing with CFT
  1. Preparation of PPAP documents
  1. Participate in fixture design approval process with CFT
  1. Participate in inspection gauge design approval process with CFT
  1. Do CMM  of inspection gauge
  1. Do internal PTR
  1. Follow up of closing of observations of internal PTR
  1. Do meeting with customer
  1. Do PPAP with customer
  1. Follow up of closing of observations of customer PPAP
  1. Handling of complaint after 1 months from PPAP date
  1. Make 8D of customer complaints
  1. Customer audits handling and closure.
  2. Customer complaints analysis and CAPA submission to customers.
  3. Involve in APQP Documents preparation with CFT. Participate in design & gauge/fixture reviews to identify potential quality risks early in NPD process.
  4. Maintained the quality documentation throughout the NPD cycle. &follow-up to PPAP approval.
  5. Process documents like-SPC/MSA/PFMEA/CONTROL plan all PPAP documents good knowledge.
  6. TATA,M&M,VW,EICHER, customer handling experience.
