Manager- Indirect Procurement

DIMENSION / SCOPE OF THE JOB:

This is an global Enterprise level position talking care of Analytical, Data Management, Monthly MIS, Wave Tool Management and other reporting requirements of Global IDM Team

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POSTION

Purchase Analyst:

Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, including cost analysis, procurement efficiency

Analyse purchasing data to identify cost saving opportunities and efficiency improvement.

Act as a market analyst on all key materials like LME metals, Steel, oil and gas and other commodity driven items and give time to time directional feedback to commodity teams.

Keep the track records of price trends, analysis, movements of all the key raw material in coordination with commodity teams in order to ensure that the commodity prices are adjusted as per the market movement and prepare the management report.

Centrally coordinate for all the purchase projects and wave management activities.

Act as a program manager for all the system improvement projects for purchasing in coordination with all stake holders.

Ensure purchase audit compliance (Systems and Process)

QUALIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

PRFERRED

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Management or Logistics

MBA is preferred.

Minimum 5 years’ experience as an analyst and data manager

Demonstrated background and proven experience with high level supplier negotiations and materials management.

Around10-years’ experience in Purchasing or Materials Management alongwith through knowledge of SAP (MM Module), Data base management, Report Handling, System, Process etc
