KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Release purchase orders and ensure on-time material availability
• Manage All India steel distribution across multiple plants and suppliers
• Handle distribution of 2500+ active parts daily.
• Coordinate with suppliers for order status, production, and dispatch planning
• Manage new development requirements and steel processing with multiple processing units
• Plan and coordinate steel and tube mill steel distribution
• Monitor inventory, including stock taking (57F4), reconciliation, FIFO, and excess stock.
• Track supplier performance (delivery, quality, responsiveness)
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and negotiation
• Plan and arrange transportation for timely material movement
• Maintain procurement data and transactions in SAP
