Key responsibilities:

Experience: Diploma/ B.E. with 7-10 years from experience in sheet metal & welding

Customer Quality & In‑Process Quality activities ensuring compliance to IATF 16949, customer requirements and operational excellence.

  1. Lead and maintain QMS as per IATF 16949-Maintain and improve QMS; ensure compliance to IATF 16949/ISO 9001; conduct internal audits, MRM, and document control.
  2. Customer complaint handling, 8D & warranty issues - Lead customer complaint handling (8D/PDCA) with actions effectiveness tracking, customer scorecard improvement; interface with OEM
  3. Ensure in‑process quality & defect reduction -Establish inline inspection, approve Control Plans/PFMEA
  4. Problem Solving: Facilitate root cause analysis (5‑Why, Fishbone), implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA), verify effectiveness.
  5. Internal audits, management review meetings
  6. Coordinate with Production, Engineering & SCM
  7. Support customer & certification audits
  8. Continuous Improvement: Lead Kaizen, Poka‑Yoke, Lean/6σ initiatives; reduce COPQ, defects & customer returns.
  9. Participate in the program review meetings
  10. Follow APQP time line, do feasibility study of drawing with CFT, Prepare PPAP documents
  11. Participate in fixture / Inspection gauge design review with CFT to identify potential quality risks early in NPD process, CMM & approval from customer
  12. Conduct internal PTR, follow up of closing of observations of internal PTR
  13. Conduct Customer PPAP, maintain Quality documentation & follow up of closing of observations with PSW signoff
  14. Process documents like-SPC/MSA/PFMEA/CONTROL plan all PPAP documents good knowledge.
  15. JCB, Suzuki, Toyota, TATA, M&M, VW, EICHER, customer handling experience
