Analysis Engineer 

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Engineers and Development Engineers to develop a comprehensive understanding of product design and manufacturing processes using CAE software tools.
  • Develop and enhance related software tools to support and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the analysis process.
  • Perform detailed analysis, interpret simulation results in accordance with internal standards, and provide clear technical recommendations for design improvements. Support cross-functional teams in understanding root causes of failures.
  • Conduct design analyses based on specific customer requirements and provide technically sound recommendations.
  • Prepare and release comprehensive analysis reports for both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively.
  • Provide technical support during customer interactions, as requested by the Product Engineer.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), with extensive working experience in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to work under the guidance and supervision of experienced FEA analysts.
  • Strong collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with Product Engineers and Development Engineers to understand analysis requirements and interpret requested results.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical and thermal stresses and strains, including their application in design and failure analysis.

SKILLS PROFILE

Experienced using Altair Hyperworks (Hypermesh, Hyperview, Radioss, etc.) and Abaqus

2

Familiar with structural, thermal, vibration, dynamic analysis technique

3

Basic knowledge on Unix OS

4

Programming experience of Python / Tcl is preferred,

5

Understanding of seal/gasket design parameters is preferred,

6

Knowledge of mechanical behavior of sealing component materials and experimental methods to obtain properties.
