Snr. Maintenance Manager Job Overview
As a Snr. Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities at the factory level; You will manage, coordinate, operate and provide technical support for preventive and corrective maintenance activities that support factory operations, providing the necessary availability in a financially efficient manner. You will be responsible for developing, completing any project requested by the hierarchical leader;
Responsibilities of a Snr. Maintenance Manager
- Participates in the analysis of the causes of the defect and proposes actions to eliminate this damage during weekly preventive maintenance planning meetings.
- Performs preventive maintenance operations in accordance with the maintenance standards developed by the engineering team.
- Is responsible for preparing the operation (picking up spare parts, tool availability, work safety checks, etc.).
- Follows and validates preventive maintenance works in SAP.
- Proposes new methods/ways to reduce the standard planned time of the operation and the scheduling of planned operations.
- Prioritizes and validates maintenance interventions for equipment and machinery, in the SAP PM.
- Maintains and updates the preventive maintenance module in SAP to ensure the preventive operations necessary for each equipment.
- Determines together with the process engineer and the production and maintenance engineer the need to update the preventive maintenance plan.
- Knows and is aware of the importance of his activity and how he contributes to achieving quality objectives (impact on product quality, contribution to achieving, maintaining and improving quality, including the consequences in case of non-compliance with customer requirements).
EHS Manager Qualifications
• Higher technical education;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in industry;
• Skills in coordinating and supervising activities;
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma concepts;
• Very good planning and organizational skills;
• Understanding of the TPM concept;
• SSM manager, SSM auditor, Knowledge of aspects related to occupational safety in the maintenance field
• Communication skills at all levels, inter-relationship and collaboration;
• Anticipation and prediction skills
• Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of a second European language is an advantage.
