As a Regional Quality Systems Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the full adherence of Braking Integrated Management System (BIMS) to Braking specific requirements while maintaining compliance to IATF 16949 ones; for coordinating and ensuring reporting, as well analyzing quality data and providing input for monitoring and continuous improvement; for managing quality projects covering as well IT- solutions.
Responsibilities of a Regional Quality Systems Manager
- Develop and maintain the Braking System Quality Audit (BSQA) at regional level and ensure the alignment of local QMS to BSQA requirements
- Carry out regular BSQA auditing (at least once a year) on all Braking OE plants and sites
- Ensure applicable international management system requirements are understood and implemented.
- Co-ordinates 3rd party Certification activities and support the plants/sites during onsite visits/audits
- Support the certification process for regulatory requirements (e.g. R90 and Inmetro).
- Define and deploy standard methodologies and tools aimed at Quality improvement, together with proper training programs
- Develop training material (TMS and/or Classroom training programs) and perform training sessions at plant/sites.
- Ensure a proper sharing of information and dissemination of best practices among Braking OE plants/sites
- Initiates/ participates in Continuous Improvement activities/ projects.
- Ensure adequate reporting about Quality performance by analyzing KPIs trend and verifying their compliance with defined targets/objectives
- Support the development of IT Quality tools and ensure their implementation and use in all Braking OE plants/sites
- Support Global Quality Director in planning, organizing and managing the Executive Management Review for Braking OE
Regional Quality Systems Manager Qualifications:
- At least 10 years’ experience in a Quality Management Professional role (preferably in Automotive industry)
- Lean Manufacturing / 6 sigma background
- Previous management of personnel and resource mandatory
- Involvement in leading complex, multi-task orientated projects
- Experience of volume manufacturing environment
- IATF 16949 Certified Auditor
- Knowledge of specific automotive core tools: Statistical Process Control (SPC), FMEA (both Design and Process), PPAP, APQP, MSA
- Knowledge of statistical IT tools (e.g. Minitab)

- Six Sigma Green, Black Belt
- VDA 6.3 Certified Auditor
