Position Summary
Provide financial support to the business unit by using technical ability to provide accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and critical business insight. Contribute to the strategic and annual operating plans. Execute financial, internal control, and audit assignments.
Job Description
- Support PS-Braking Americas month-end close process by reviewing financial data, perform analysis and prepare journal entries
- Ensure financial reports accurately reflect financial performance in accordance with GAAP and Tenneco’s policies
- Provide analytical support to the PS-Braking Americas Finance Organization, reporting to Americas Operation Finance Leader. Perform ad-hoc analysis; prepare monthly/quarterly internal/external reporting packages, consolidate financial reporting, support financial systems update/maintenance. Ability to perform accurate, timely financial analysis and provide recommendations. Contribute to the strategic and annual operating plans.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested by leadership team.
- Support the business planning processes (strategic plan, annual operating plan and monthly forecasts).
- Actively participate in the implementation of financial systems, tools, procedure/policies.
- Review Balance Sheet, prepare reconciliations, and ensure internal audit processes and controls are operating effectively.
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a financial analyst role in a plant (preferred) or at a corporate level
- Certified auditing, internal controls, and accounting skills
- Experience in an international corporation with matrix organization: listed company or private equity owned company (preferred) or 3 years’ experience in an international auditing firm
- Experience with Financial reporting systems like One Stream (preferred) or Hyperion
- USGAAP Knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Skills
- MS Power BI friendly user
- Candidate should be disciplined & organized, analytical and have a KPI mindset. They should have good communication skills and business acumen for manufacturing. A preferred candidate has ability to learn by him/herself and agility with dynamic and changing environment.
