About Us:
At Tenneco, we’re on a mission. Guided by our Core Values and a winning mindset, we are committed to becoming the most trusted partner, manufacturer, and distributor in the transportation industry. What drives us? Our people are passionate changemakers who bring energy, dedication, and innovation to everything they do.
In this role, you’ll be part of a team that thrives on excellence and continuous improvement, with a sharp focus on delivering value to our customers, because when they succeed, we all do. We'd love to have you on board if you're ready to make a meaningful impact and grow within a constantly evolving company. Are you ready to drive what's next?
Who are you?
1. Operations Leader: You set and lead the cadence of supply chain execution across the region. From S&OE routines to Daily Management and SC Operations Reviews, you ensure focus, alignment, and discipline in performance management.
2. Problem Solver: You thrive under pressure and bring calm to the storm. When issues escalate, you provide clarity, resolve root causes, and engage the right teams to close gaps.
3. Talent Builder: You develop Plant Supply Chain Managers into strategic leaders. You assess maturity, shape career paths, and build high-performing teams that can deliver breakthrough results in complex, matrixed environments.
4. P3 Champion: You are obsessed with our P3 Operating Standard. You role model its mindset, challenge its deployment, and accelerate its maturity across every plant you oversee. You are the voice of the supply chain within P3.
5. Program Driver: You are tightly connected with program management teams. You anticipate the needs of SOP and EOP launches and ensure the supply chain is ready and robust, both tactically and strategically.
Who will you set to win, and how will you do that?
• Plant Supply Chain Teams: You provide direction, guidance, and support across multiple plants and functions. You align regional goals with global strategies and ensure site teams execute clearly and urgently.
• Customer-Facing Teams: You partner closely with commercial and customer planning teams to protect service, mitigate risks, and deliver on-time performance with confidence.
• Operations: You will be a strategic partner to Plant Managers and Regional Operations Leaders, ensuring the supply chain is tightly integrated with manufacturing execution. You will align capacity, material availability, and production scheduling to protect flow and maximize responsiveness. By fostering collaboration between supply chain and operations, you will enable synchronized execution and drive SQDIC performance across sites.
• Central Functions: You act as the connective tissue between plant operations, procurement, logistics, and program teams, ensuring robust material flows, inventory optimization, and schedule adherence across all tiers.
What’s going to be your legacy?
1. Driving Record-Breaking Supply Chain Performance: You will lead the elimination of inefficiencies across the supply chain. You will eliminate the 7 wastes — will drive data-backed initiatives that will unlock end-to-end value and set all-time performance records in customer satisfaction, delivery rates, inventory optimization, inventory accuracy, logistics cost reduction, and lead time reduction.
2. High-Impact Talent Development: You will create a culture of ownership, curiosity, and learning. The leaders you develop will go on to drive change across Tenneco, multiplying your impact beyond your region
3. Taking Our Tenneco P3 Operating System to the Next Level: You will be at the forefront of transforming how we operate. Through relentless coaching, disciplined deployment, and strong cross-functional engagement, you will accelerate the maturity of our P3 Operating System — moving sites from foundational to Bronze, Bronze to Silver, and Silver to Gold. Operational excellence will not be a goal — it will be a standard. You will also be instrumental in developing and embedding the Supply Chain pillar within our P3 model, ensuring that supply chain excellence is fully integrated into
how we operate.
4. Building a Better-than-Best-in-Class Supply Chain: Your ultimate legacy will be designing and shaping a supply chain that doesn’t just match best-in-class standards—it redefines them.
