Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Global Supply Chain Organization: You will empower the global supply chain — across 100+ plants in 20+ countries — by designing and deploying our Global Supply Chain KPI Dashboard. You will also play a key leadership role in our data lake strategy, consolidating data from over 25 ERP systems to ensure a single source of truth.
  • IT, Finance, Operations: Besides being a central team member in our data-lake project, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to unlock the next frontier through Project Umbrella: a unified global platform that enables AI-powered insights and faster, smarter decisions for global supply chain visibility and control.
  • IT Business Partner: You will be a close link, translating business needs into data action, working closely with our internal Data Architecture team during our development and deployment of our new Supply Chain technology.
  • Internal Non-Power BI Data Models: You will be the key link in ensuring our internal supply chain templates are accurately updated monthly, always looking to continuously improve the construction, finding ways to automate or simplify.
  • P3 Team: You will contribute directly to building the data foundation of our P3 Standard for supply chain, defining how we measure, collect data, analyze, and drive supply chain performance across the enterprise.
  • Enabling Record-Breaking Supply Chain Performance: You will be a critical enabler in eliminating global inefficiencies by building the systems and insights that make improvement possible. Supply Chain for us is data management. By delivering accurate, timely, and actionable data, you’ll empower teams to unlock end-to-end value and drive record-setting performance in customer satisfaction, delivery, inventory optimization and accuracy, logistics cost reduction, and lead time improvement.
  • Fueling the Evolution of the Tenneco P3 Operating Standard: As data becomes the foundation of how we drive excellence, you will play a central role in accelerating the maturity of our P3 Operating Standard. Your work will enable sites to move from Foundational to Bronze, Bronze to Silver, and Silver to Gold — by providing consistent, reliable KPIs and visibility tools that support structured process deployment and performance management. You’ll help embed the Supply Chain pillar into the model, ensuring that data is not just used, but becomes the engine behind every standard process.
  • Redefining Best-in-Class: Your legacy will be a global supply chain that sets new standards in data management, technology integration, and complex systems orchestration. You will enhance our analytics capabilities and leverage next-generation tools to drive informed, scalable decision-making. Through your leadership, Tenneco will be recognized not only for operational excellence but also for digital and data excellence on a global scale, helping to retain and attract the best talent.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s a plus)

Experience: 3–7 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing analytics, with increasing scope and global exposure

Skills

  • Advanced Analytics Toolkit: Advanced user of Power BI, Excel, and data modeling techniques; experience with DAX, Power Query, and large dataset optimization
  • Systems and Architecture Know-How: Solid understanding of relational databases, ERP systems (SAP, ORACLE, PLEX, QAD, etc.), and data lake concepts
  • Communication Across Borders: Strong and assertive communication skills in English; ability to collaborate across cultures, functions, and time zones
  • Healthily OCD Equipped About the Details: If a dashboard color palette shifts mid-report, a border is 2px instead of 1px, a font changes style between slides, or a date format is inconsistent, you notice. And you fix it. That “good kind of OCD” helps elevate our standards through your work from functional to flawless, and ensures every stakeholder trusts what they see. You are a data-artist!
  • Data-Driven: You are a hands-on problem solver with a passion for transforming complex, disconnected datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive global performance.
  • Process Driven: You can organize chaos into coachable processes, with the ability to scale globally.
  • Technically Sharp, Business-Savvy: You combine deep technical skills in Power BI and advanced Excel with strong business intuition to turn operational complexity into visibility and control.
  • Globally Fluent: You thrive in multicultural, fast-paced environments — navigating across plants, systems, and time zones to build the data backbone that enables measurable supply chain excellence.
  • Curious: You are always looking for ways to improve and continuously learn, asking questions and challenging the status quo.
  • Dashboard Development Mastery: Proven track record designing, building, and deploying dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel (you’re fast, precise, and creative)
  • Complex Data Environment Navigation: Experience working with complex datasets across multiple ERPs and global manufacturing environments
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong history partnering with IT, Finance, and Operations to define KPIs, ensure data consistency, and drive performance visibility
  • Data Infrastructure Contribution: Hands-on involvement in data consolidation, governance frameworks, and building blocks of a data lake or centralized reporting architecture
