The BEV/BPM Account Manager’s prime responsibility is to deliver profitable growth utilizing the concept of team selling to ensure that Systems Protection delivers customer excellence.

  • Develop key customer relationships at the OE and Tier One Battery Pack, vehicle opportunities, core BEV (battery pack) engineering.  Cultivate and develop key executives in both Purchasing and Engineering to coach and sponsor Systems Protection.  Neutralize the anti-sponsors.
  • Develop and implement Systems Protection customer strategies for BEV/BPM.  Modify or create specifications that support the need and application for our products inside the battery pack.
  • Lead the commercial prospecting and development of new business by influencing the customer to source Systems Protection products.
  • Incorporate vehicle/powertrain(BEV) roll out schedules and volumes to drive Systems Protection in accordance with the customer’s sourcing timeline
  • Collect data and organize the white space analysis for the OE
  • Communicate SP target programs and develop a plan for content to close gap
  • Make entries in SalesForce supporting the BEV opportunities and BEV targets at the OE and Tier One levels.
  • Work with appropriate Tier Account Manager or Representatives to communicate what programs tiers have both current and, in the future,
  • Communicate globally to the other regions on global OE platforms, content and build data
  • Work with materials engineering at the OE to understand specifications and promote the value proposition to gain new product approvals and eliminate competition
  • Work closely with R&D and Product Management on next generation products.
  • Assist with the development of the customer sales and business strategies required to achieve SP’s business objectives.
    • Achieve strategic plan annual revenue
    • Deliver profitable bookings to achieve 5.5% minimum p.a. growth greater than market, in the Core, and targets for BPM growth.
    • Maximize material recovery by balancing the overall business goals and objectives to ensure a minimum of 70% material recovery
    • Achieve profit enhancement of 25% minimum p.a.
    • Achieve or improve the pricing budget
    • Leader customer profitability improvement initiatives
