ABOUT THE ROLE.

Responsible for electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines, with expertise in Fanuc/Siemens systems, PLCs, VFDs, servo and spindle controls, ensuring minimum downtime, equipment reliability, and safe operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and spindle systems.
• Diagnose electrical and control system failures and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Carry out PLC troubleshooting/modifications and VFD programming & commissioning.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Handle machine interfacing, signal integration, and industrial communication issues.
•  Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce breakdowns and improve machine reliability.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and maintenance practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience with CNC control systems, including Fanuc and Siemens platforms.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modification.Expertise in Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) configuration, programming, and commissioning.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Experience in machine interfacing, signal integration, and industrial communication protocols.
• Diagnostic & Problem-Solving SkillsAdvanced fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of CNC electrical, servo, spindle, and control systems.
• Ability to analyze electrical failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards, electrical maintenance practices, and power distribution systemsDiploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 to 8 yrs exp
