Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- You will coach Site Supply Chain leaders on foundational practices such as Daily Management, Visual Management, Problem Solving, and Action Planning. You will also support them in structuring and executing KPI management routines, shaping project pipelines tied to their Value Stream Maps (VSMs), and facilitating workshops and kaizens aligned to their VSM-based continuous improvement roadmaps.
- You will work closely with the Demand Planning team to develop and implement processes from the ground up. This includes driving improvements in demand planning, capacity management, production scheduling, and weekly S&OE. You will also establish internal production pull systems, address WIP and FG inventory reduction challenges, and enhance overall delivery performance within the SQDC framework.
- You will collaborate with the Supply Planning team to optimize the conversion of production schedules into supplier orders. You will work together to track incoming materials, maintain optimal raw material inventory levels, streamline logistics inbound routes, and reduce lead times in partnership with procurement, logistics, and customs, helping to mitigate global supply risks and strengthen supplier relationships.
- You will partner with the Material Handling team to support both Shop Floor Operations and Data Integrity. This includes ensuring safety and optimizing replenishment routes, operator conveyance, packing, shipping, and packaging control. You will also work on improving inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, BOM verification, and collaborating with finance for inventory reporting. Additionally, you will work closely with Industrial Engineering to optimize layout designs and operational processes.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations management, or a related field. Masters preferred.
Skills
- Technical Lean: Strong understanding of Lean principles and practices, particularly in supply chain. Six Sigma Certified (Green or Black Belt) and APICS certifications are a plus.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional Spanish or another European language proficiency is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas simply to various stakeholders.
- Digital: Proficiency in Excel (intermediate or above); experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Familiarity with emerging supply chain technologies is a strong plus.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire teams and drive performance.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and in a matrixed organization, building strong relationships and fostering teamwork.
