We are looking for a Manager of Program Management to join our team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the NA NVH PM team to deliver flawless launches, meeting the 0/0/100/100/30 launch metrics
  • Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and career growth
  • Provide transformative leadership and strategic direction for global programs, ensuring alignment with the organizational goals and objectives,
  • Ensure adherence to Tenneco program management processes based on TenPLUS discipline, using the Planisware software tool
  • Directly manage new launch programs as required to support workload
  • Schedule and conduct high quality Program Reviews and Gate Reviews
  • Report regularly on NVH Program Management effectiveness using established TenPLUS metrics
  • Ensure high level of integration and collaboration with the regional PMOs and alignment with affected functional managers
  • Act as Program Sponsor ensuring support to obtain people, financial resources, and training support at both the individual launch and PMO level
  • Ensure early problem identification and resolution for new launches
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure effective communication with customers.
  • Support program trade-off analysis, balancing cost, time, product and resources.
  • Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Identify program risks early, and help the team develop and execute mitigation strategies and the Red Flag process
  • Ensure programs adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Escalate risk to leadership team in a timely fashion
  • Represent NVH on DRiV GPMO issues
  • Serve as PM Tools expert and trainer for NVH

EDUCATION: 

  • Masters Degree in Engineering, or Program or Engineering Management and Three years of experience as Product, Project, or Program Engineer or Manager. (or)
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, or Program or Engineering Management and five years of experience as Product, Project, or Program Engineer or Manager.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • The required experience must have been in the automotive or automotive parts industry.
  • Professional certifications can enhance qualifications. Common certifications include:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Program Management Professional (PgMP)
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
    • Lean Six Sigma
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Up to 20% domestic and/or international travel required.
