ABOUT THE ROLE

Tenneco Industrial team is focused on a growth mission to double sales in industrial markets by 2028.  This aggressive growth strategy requires project initiatives critical to support our organic and inorganic ambitions.  The Industrial Growth PMO is charged with driving change in the organization, removing roadblocks to growth, improving processes, supporting the team, and managing inorganic growth opportunities.  The PMO intern supports all these efforts and drives specific projects to closure while gaining exposure to dynamic business decisions and activities.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the budget planning and submission process by developing proficiency in internal systems and ensuring timely, accurate, and first‑time‑right submissions.

· Independently lead and deliver at least one defined project from initiation through completion during the internship period.

· Assist with planning and execution of local marketing initiatives and customer-facing events, as needed.

· Organize, maintain, and support data management and reporting activities using Microsoft Office Applications and related tools.

· Provide general operational and administrative support to the Industrial team, as assigned.

· Travel, as required, to Tenneco facilities or customer locations to support industrial growth initiatives

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Currently enrolled as a rising Junior or Senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, liberal arts, engineering, or a related field.

  • Prior professional, academic, or internship experience preferred.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

· Demonstrated ability to contribute to and drive projects to successful completion within a team-based environment.

· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex business challenges.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills; experience collaborating with international or cross-functional teams is preferred.
