As we embark on large-scale digital initiatives, the need for robust Organizational Change Management (OCM) is critical to ensure successful adoption and sustainable results.

 

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced OCM Lead to develop and execute strategies that guide our people through the transformation journey. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of change management principles, proven experience in large-scale digital transformations, and the ability to inspire and mobilize diverse stakeholder groups. The position may be based in Northville, MI and reports directly to the Vice President, Global Digitalization & Smart Manufacturing of the company.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive change management strategies for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, analyze, and engage stakeholders at all levels. Develop tailored engagement plans to build awareness, understanding, and support for transformational changes.
  • Communication: Develop and execute effective communication plans that articulate the vision, purpose, and progress of transformation projects. Ensure messaging is consistent, timely, and relevant to diverse audiences.
  • Training & Enablement: Collaborate with learning and development teams to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that enable employees to adopt new systems, processes, and behaviors.
  • Impact Assessment: Conduct change impact analyses to identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on adoption metrics, readiness, and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
  • Resistance Management: Anticipate, identify, and address sources of resistance to change. Develop and deploy interventions to support individuals and teams through the transition.
  • Culture Building: Promote a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous learning. Support leadership in modeling desired mindsets and behaviors.
  • Project Collaboration: Partner with project managers, technology teams, HR, and other business units to integrate change management activities into overall project plans.
  • Change Network Leadership: Build and lead a network of change champions and agents across the organization to amplify the impact and reach of change initiatives.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Establish KPIs and success measures for change initiatives. Prepare and present regular reports on progress, challenges, and achievements to leadership.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in organizational change management, preferably in digital business transformation or technology-driven environments.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex scenarios and propose effective solutions.
  • Facilitation and coaching skills; experience leading workshops and training sessions.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration technologies.
  • High emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and results orientation.
  • Certifications: Prosci Change Management Certification, ACMP Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or similar credentials a strong asset.
