The Manager, M&A will play a key role in driving the company’s growth strategy by identifying, evaluating, and executing merger, acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture opportunities. This role will partner closely with senior leadership, corporate strategy, finance, legal, and business unit leaders to assess strategic fit, lead financial modeling and valuation, and support due diligence and integration planning. The Manager will bring strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and project management skills to ensure successful execution of complex transactions that align with the company’s long-term objectives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Lead financial analysis, valuation, and business case development for potential M&A opportunities.

 Support the end-to-end transaction process, including target identification, due diligence, negotiations, deal structuring, and closing.

 Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate synergies, risks, and return on investment.

 Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Tax, Operations, IT, etc.) to coordinate due diligence activities and integration planning.

 Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and potential acquisition opportunities.

 Prepare presentations and materials for senior management and the Board of Directors to support decision-making.

 Manage relationships with external advisors, investment banks, consultants, and other stakeholders as needed.

 Monitor and track the performance of completed transactions against original deal theses and integration objectives.

 Provide thought leadership on deal strategy, value creation opportunities, and best practices in M&A execution.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional designation (CFA, CPA) strongly preferred.

Experience: 5–7 years of progressive experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or related field.
