We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Manager, Digital Business Transformation to join our Digital Enterprise Process Optimization team to define a new legacy for Tenneco. This role will focus on identifying inefficiencies and gaps across front office (e.g., Sales, Program Management) and back office (e.g., HR, Finance) functions. The Manager, Digital Business Transformation will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver automation solutions that simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and drive measurable business value.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with businesses and functions to facilitate end-to-end process assessments across departments to identify pain points, redundancies, and automation opportunities. This will be through workshops, interviews with stakeholders and process mining to gather requirements and understand current state processes.
  • Analyze data and workflows to uncover trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Work with initiative owners from the businesses and functions to define 'as-is' and 'to-be' workflows with measurable KPIs.
  • Act as a Program Manager for use cases - defining timelines for implementation, key milestones, identifying risks and roadblocks and tracking progress with the initiative owners.
  • Develop business cases and ROI models to support automation initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into specifications for technical team members.
  • Partner with IT and automation teams to design and implement digital solutions (e.g., RPA, low-code platforms, AI tools).
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and ensure solutions deliver expected outcomes.
  • Support testing, feedback, and refinement of solutions.
  • Best-practice evaluation across the region and sharing globally with DBT team.

 

 

Experience & Qualifications

 

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or equivalent a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of front and back-office functions and their interdependencies.
  • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio etc.) and automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate).
  • Experience in Program Management a plus.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or similar methodologies preferred.
  • Exposure to ERP/CRM/HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems and driving change.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and matrixed organizations.
