Tenneco is one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of automotive
products for original equipment and aftermarket customers. Through our DRiV, Performance
Solutions, Clean Air and Powertrain business groups, Tenneco is driving advancements in
global mobility by delivering technology solutions for light vehicle, commercial truck, offhighway, industrial, motorsport and the aftermarket.
In this role, you’ll join a global team united by tenacious execution and a deep emotional allegiance to our mission. You’ll be empowered to move fast, think big, and deliver lasting impact in a culture that values loyalty, courage, and high performance. You will be reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional project execution across our global supply chain, supporting the transformation efforts across 80+ manufacturing plants.
- Deploy and govern large-scale, enterprise-wide projects that shape how data, process, and performance come together.
- Own the project structure for the Global Supply Chain Project Management Toolbox.
- Apply The Tenneco Way to standardize processes, improve accountability, and accelerate progress.
Minimum Requirements
- Project Management Certification: PMP, Prince2, or equivalent
- Advanced Project Toolkit: Extensive knowledge and experience with project planning and tracking tools, Gantt charts, RAID logs, MS Project, etc.
- Communication Across Borders: Strong and assertive communication skills in English; ability to collaborate across cultures, functions, and time zones. Other languages are a plus.
- Healthily OCD Equipped About the Details: If a dashboard color palette shifts mid-report, a border is 2px instead of 1px, a font changes style between slides, or a date format is inconsistent, you notice. And you fix it. That “good kind of OCD” helps elevate our standards through your work from functional to flawless, and ensures every stakeholder trusts what they see.
Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, International Business, Marketing, Construction Management or related field (Master’s a plus). Certificate of any APICS or Six Sigma a plus.
Skills
- You build trust quickly. Your demeanor is approachable and sincere, but your follow-through is relentless. People want to work with you — and they get things done because you make it easier to do so.
- Whether it’s presenting to a director, rallying with a plant manager, or aligning stakeholders across regions, you bring confidence, empathy, and clarity. You can speak all internal languages within the organization: operations, supply chain, purchasing, etc.
- You know how to push through ambiguity and roadblocks, proactively breaking down silos and setting up repeatable frameworks. You’re calm in the chaos and always move the ball forward.
