In this role, this director will have responsibility for financial planning and analysis the North America Performance Solutions will be responsible for the North America annual planning (AOP), monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, five- and ten-year financial strategic plan, financial reporting, business analysis, close process/ accounting, and financial support for the NA VP organization (commercial, operations, purchasing, integrated supply chain, etc.).
Also responsible for driving consistency in standard costing processes, coordinating customer price changes, and monitoring and tracking cost savings programs.
This role will have (1) direct report.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monthly forecasting
- Variance analysts vs forecast, budget, and prior year by month, quarter, and year to date
- Manage and prepare monthly package to submit to ELT
- Find EBITDA improvement opportunities in COGS and SGA
- Consolidate Annual Operating Plan
- Improve reporting via Onestream reports
- Work with Senior Finance Director and GM to be a Business Partner
- Manage accounting requisitions
- Other ad hoc requests as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required. Major in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA highly preferred
- 7+ years’ progressive financial experience preferably in a manufacturing and Fortune 500 environment…Broad background in all aspects of financial planning and analysis
- Strong finance and manufacturing analysis background.
Competencies:
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite, HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and SAP
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication/presentation skills and overall business acumen required.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision as well as highly organized
- Solid project management and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated results in improving processes and developing financial analysis that provides business insight
- Partners with the senior leadership team to build a climate that energizes the team and drives accountability and demonstrated personal commitment to Customer Satisfaction
- Ability to work well in a dynamic and complex environment and on cross functional teams in a highly matrixed environment
