As a Product lead on Finance Systems at Tenneco, you’ll be responsible for driving the development and long term strategy for finance products and tools, driving efficient financial operations, forecasting, and data insights. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial processes, paired with a strong understanding of finance applications in automating, optimizing, and predicting business outcomes. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Articulate the product vision for Finance products – Onestream, Reporting Data Lakes, Kyriba etc.
  • Develop annual and quarterly plans to deliver these solutions to users in corporate and Business Units and make them successful
  • Collaboratively partner with finance teams across BU’s to understand their pain-points and develop plans to build delightful and helpful user experiences. Work in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Ensure scalable, efficient solutions for finance

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Finance Transformation with a focus / understanding of Finance systems and processes
  • Vendor management – Ability to work with SI and other vendors in collaboration with IT to drive desired outcomes optimally
  • AI Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in financial processes such as automation, anomaly detection, forecasting, and intelligent reporting
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience working with IT teams to build finance systems - familiarity with forecasting concepts, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across finance.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience guiding product development from ideation through execution

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of financial systems (ERP, accounting platforms, budgeting tools) & finance processes (FP&A, treasury, audit)
  • Familiarity with finance systems (e.g., SAP, Kyriba, Workday) and AI/ML platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present AI-driven product solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
