We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Manager – Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience analyzing large datasets, developing data-driven solutions, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This role will focus on SQL, Power BI, Azure, AWS, OneStream, and SAP-related financial analytics, supporting accounting, financial operations, and transactional data analysis. The candidate will work closely with IT, finance, and operations teams to build scalable analytical solutions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze large financial and transactional datasets, identifying trends and anomalies to drive business insights.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and financial data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Design and implement Power BI dashboards to visualize financial KPIs, operational performance, and risk indicators.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to identify, collect, and validate data from databases (Azure, AWS, SAP).
  • Perform ETL processes for structured and unstructured financial data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work with OneStream and SAP to enhance financial planning, consolidation, and reporting functionalities.
  • Optimize Accounts Receivable/Payable, Fixed Assets, Supply Chain, and Inventory reporting processes.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new data analytics and business intelligence tools to improve financial reporting capabilities.
  • Provide technical and strategic input to financial technology initiatives, automation, and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional data analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate financial insights to finance leaders, stakeholders, and executive teams.

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in financial data analysis, business intelligence, and data mining.

Skills

  • Strong experience in SQL, Power BI, Azure, AWS, and SAP-related financial analytics.
  • Experience analyzing accounting, financial, or transactional data across multiple business cycles.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable/Payable, Fixed Assets, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management.
  • Expertise in ETL processes, data modeling, and financial data validation.
  • Ability to work with IT teams to develop and maintain financial databases and reporting solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to finance and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, stakeholder relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Administration (MBA), or Data Science.
  • Experience designing interactive dashboards in Power BI.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx.
  • Practical experience with OneStream and SAP for financial modeling.
  • Data Analytics Certification.
