About the Tenneco Communications Team:

Corporate Communications Lead specializing in internal communications and employee engagement who thrives in this environment—someone who can align tightly to business needs, execute with speed, and raise the bar on how Tenneco shows up across its platforms.
This role is highly collaborative, highly visible, and requires both strategic judgment and hands-on execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with key functions across the organization to develop clear, compelling internal content that supports business priorities and brings The Tenneco Way to life across platforms and formats
- Partner with functions and IT to own and continuously improve the employee communications experience, including internal channels and tools, ensuring they are effective, reliable, and scalable
- Support executive and leadership communications, working with leaders and functions to ensure messages are clear, aligned, and ready for enterprise-wide delivery
- Develop and deliver internal communication plans and campaigns, in close partnership with functions, that inform, engage, and guide employees through key initiatives and change
- Lead and/or support internal events, including town halls, leadership meetings, and enterprise forums, ensuring strong messaging, flow, and execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with functions and stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment, trust, and disciplined execution
- Regularly assess and report on communication effectiveness, using insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Minimum Requirements
Education: A bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing or related field with 5-8 years of experience
Skills
- Proven experience within a global organization, supporting significant organizational priorities and change through strategic communication initiatives
- Skilled in utilizing communication tools and platforms, including traditional intranet and employee engagement platforms, such as Workvivo or similar
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to create clear, concise and impactful messages aligned to corporate culture and purpose
- An obsession with dynamic corporate communications, storytelling, and tactical execution
- Able to succeed in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with autonomy
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a knack for influencing and engaging stakeholders
- Resourceful problem-solver and innovative team player, with a keen eye on detail
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar collaborating with graphic design, video teams; comfortable with autonomous multimedia storytelling platforms, such as Canva
