This position is critical in ensuring seamless integration between multiple ERP systems (SAP, QAD, Plex, and others), Engineering applications, Internal custom applications and external applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design, develop and test integration workflows, custom applications and support data exchange using APIs, EDI, and middleware solutions. The position may be based in Northville, Michigan and reports directly to the Director of Non-SAP ERP & EDI/EI Application Services of the company.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business process owners to capture integration requirements across various ERPs, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance and HR applications
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Define integration patterns for Application-to-Application data flow.
  • Develop data mapping documents for master and transactional data.
  • Develop and implement APIs, EDI transactions, and middleware workflows.
  • Prepare and execute integration test cases; validate data integrity.
  • Maintain integration process flows, mapping sheets, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and organizational standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison for integration-related queries and provide regular status updates.
  • Develop Custom Applications and corresponding Integrations

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • (Preferred) Master’s degree in IT or related field.

Skills

  • Required:
    • Experience in ERP integration projects (SAP, Plex, QAD).
    • Exposure to integration tools (eQube, Boomi, BTP IS etc.)
    • Hands-on experience with API-based integrations
    • Experience in ThinkWorx Composer, Creating UI mashups
    • Knowledge of AWS S3/Data Lake for data ingestion and transformation.
    • Worked with various Integration Data formats (XML, JSON, CSV) and ThingWorx DataShapes
    • Experience in creating SQL and Power BI based reports and dashboards to clean and transform plant floor data.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred
    • Experience in application of eQube connectors, maps and process triggers
    • Implement DAX calculations for trend analysis, variance, and drill-through
    • UI Analysis and Design using any Custom App Development platform (preferably ThingWorx)
    • Experience with multi-ERP environments and manufacturing processes.
    • Exposure to cloud-based integration platforms and event-driven architectures.
    • Understanding of Agile methodology and tools (DevOps, Confluence).
