Job Description:

  • Prepare shipping documentation for outgoing shipments – domestic and international
  • Create bar-code labels per customer specifications (Loftware, Inc)
  • Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy
  • Schedule truckload LTL and expedited shipments
  • Analyze freight billing for accuracy
  • Transmit Advanced Shipment Notification via Electronic Interchange.
  • Direct shipping dock personnel
  • Assist in facility inventory management
  • Prepare monthly presentations for corporate driven meetings

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Powerpoint. 
  • The ability to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail (numbers accuracy and quality of work is vital to this position)
  • Solid time management skills; with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to reprioritize throughout the day to accommodate changing requirements.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and some evenings / weekends.
  • Motivated team player

Required Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years shipping & receiving experience
